The Tamilnadu all-rounder Washington Sundar selected as the replacement of Ravi in the Rising Pune Supergiant team. As we all know that Ravi Ashwin is ruled out of the entire IPL 2017. He is out due to a sports hernia.

After selected in the team Sundar said,“I am feeling good about getting selected, and at the same time, I am excited to be a part of the team that has some big names in it. I don’t have any expectations going into the tournament. I will work hard to get an opportunity and when I get it, I should be ready to deliver for the team.”

Washington Sundar to replace Ravi Ashwin in Supergiant squad

The Australian captain will lead the Rising Pune Supergiant team in this season and the former captain MS Dhoni will play as a wicketkeeper batsman in the team. Along with Ravi Ashwin, the Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh was also ruled out due to injury.

Washington Sundar is a 17-year-old all-rounder from Tamil Nadu. Who got famous in the 2014 ICC under-19 World Cup, when he was only 15 years old. The Rising Pune Supergiant is starting their campaign in the IPL 10 against the Mumbai Indians.
